Jake & Allyse: A Golden Wedding

Accidental images are usually the best. I'm trying to learn how to keep the shutter button going during the in-between moments of a day. I have no doubt that Allyse was looking into the wind in this image to try and get her hair out of her face...We almost blew off of Lookout Mountain in Golden last month. (Literally had to brace myself on my step-ladder at one point.) We laughed (A LOT) and we cried some (sweet tears and dirt-filled tears) and these two got married!

I'm loving these firsts. Boettcher Mansion in Golden is such a lovely spot! I'm so glad Jake and Allyse had me up to spend the afternoon with them! I was cracking up at these two...especially Allyse. Her family values never taking yourself too seriously and having fun at all times. I've got quite a few family photos of everyone making ridiculous faces. Might have included one or two goofy ones in this post. Just so you get a true sense for their beautiful day. ;-)

I think Mom lost it for a minute but smiled and laughed through the sweet tears.
